We have the below warranty policy in place to cover quality issues that don’t reflect our high standards. While normal wear and tear from putting your Dakine gear to good use will not be covered, we stand by our mission to be your trusted brand.

WARRANTY INSTRUCTIONS

AUS Customers
If you reside and have purchased your product in Australia and your product is covered by our Warranty Policy listed below, please click on the button to submit your Warranty Claim.

Warranty Policies

Limited Lifetime Warranty
Limited Lifetime Warranty Dakine offers a Ten, (10), Year Limited Lifetime Warranty, from manufacture date, against manufacturing defects, within the normal scope of use. Dakine will replace or reimburse, at its discretion, any products found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate utilization, excluding wear and tear, within the lifetime of the product, defined as not longer than 10 years. This warranty does not cover damage due to improper use or care, accident, or negligence, nor any costs or damages incurred because of loss of misuse of the product. If the product's age is in question, proof of purchase may be necessary and should be submitted with warranty request.

Dakine is not responsible for damages caused by transit. If your product is damaged by an airline or transportation company, please contact the transportation company directly and immediately following the incident.

The following products carry our Dakine Limited Lifetime Warranty.

2-Year Warranty
Dakine offers a Two, (2), Year Limited Warranty, from manufacture date, against manufacturing defects within the normal scope of use. Dakine will replace or reimburse, at its discretion, any products found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate utilization, excluding wear and tear, within the Two (2) Year Limited Warranty timeframe. This warranty does not cover damage due to improper use or care, accident, or negligence, nor any costs or damages incurred because of loss of misuse of the product. If the product's age is in question, proof of purchase may be necessary and should be submitted with warranty request.

The following products carry our Dakine 2-Year Warranty

  • Performance Gloves (Snow, Bike)
  • Wallets
  • Pickup Pads
  • Apparel & Outerwear

1-Year Warranty
Dakine offers a One, (1), Year Limited Warranty, from the manufacture date, against manufacturing defects within the normal scope of use. Dakine will replace or reimburse, at its discretion any products found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate utilization, excluding wear and tear, within the One (1) Year Limited Warranty timeframe. This warranty does not cover damage due to improper use or care, accident, or negligence, nor any costs or damages incurred because of loss of misuse of the product. If the product's age is in question, proof of purchase may be necessary and should be submitted with warranty request.

The following products carry our Dakine 1-Year Warranty

  • Bike Knee & Elbow Pads
  • Surf Leashes
  • Surf Traction
  • Headwear
  • Towels
  • Socks

Examples of wear and tear that will not be covered:

  • Faded colors / UV sun damage
  • Material wearing over time
  • Gloves damaged from used on a rope tow
  • Tears in the middle of the fabric (not along a seam)
  • Tears caused by a crash or wreck
  • Midsoles wearing out overtime
  • Rubber outsoles wearing out overtime
  • Sandal decks (where the bottom of your feet make contact with the sandal) wears out

Examples of damage caused outside the normal scope of use which will not be covered:

  • Jagged-edged tear (straight edge tears indicate a manufacturing defect jagged tears indicate a rip)
  • A rip or puncture hole in the bottom of a backpack
  • Any material that was ripped or caught on another object
  • Damage from a washer or drying machine
  • Melted material caused by excessive heat/fire
  • Improper use of product
  • Dog and or pet and or creature ate any component of my sandal or shoe.
